Hi Folks,
The ability to simplify technical concepts so that they are relevant and impactful to non-technical audiences is one of the most valuable skills to have in tech.
For some this comes naturally, but for others it needs to be strengthened like a muscle.
For those who needed to strengthen it, how did you do it?
It is not hard to get chances to speak publicly about tech. There are probably meetups in your town that are always looking for speakers and, actually, if you write proposals for larger conferences it is not that hard to get a speaker slot which will get you a free ticket to the conference even you still need to pay for transportation and a hotel.
