I wish the author would control for growth over time, if he did he would see that the very loud 'minority' has quickly become the majority and not only that but- there is a vast difference between small blogs or mom&pops stores homepages and bigger more complex projects.<p>What amount of streaming apps is built with WordPress, or newspapers, or social media etc. Truth is, it is probably overkill to use React and build an SPA on top of a wordpress site, but, almost absolutely necessary for something more dynamic and complex.
