You've posted a few of these now, including:
Show HN: 2023 Market Outlooks, Searchable - https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34849149
Epstein Documents, Fully Searchable - https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34838422
There are a couple problems. First, these aren't valid Show HNs. Searchable databases of reading material count more as reading material than projects people can play with (https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html). They do have an interactive aspect, of course, but not enough to make them valid Show HNs. That's why we took Show HN off the title of the Epstein one.
The second problem is that you're pitching your Show HN at the wrong scope. It needs to be at the whole product level—not at the specific example level. That is, you need something like "Show HN: Collie.ai - <brief product description>" with a link to https://collie.ai/ and some text that gives the backstory of how you came to work on this, explains what's different about it (this is critical!) and gives some technical detail. That's what's interesting here.
If you just post an example like the current one, people will not see how it's any different from googling "site:paulgraham.com" and the thread will only be a generic discussion about PG essays or Epstein rabbitholes or whatever the example is. That's not interesting, it's not about your startup, and it's not in the spirit of Show HN. I hope this helps!
