I'm very not interested in the Sonos software & ecosystem, but that they seemingly have pretty good local LAN control makes these devices extremely tempting (if significantly not cheap).<p>It's feels like it's getting harder and harder to find sound gear with Chromecast built in[1]. There's few new devices being added here, and quite a few of the links to existing devices are now 404 or just redirect to the manufacturer's site.<p>Maybe this is a badging thing, that now I need to be looking for Google Assistant devices or some such, but I'm not really sure if they'll all also be Chromecast audio targets or not. And I haven't found a good resource for seeing what's out there.
