If its not the first time, it suggests there is a systematic weakness in this model.<p>Not that "Trains are bad" or "Nuclear is bad" but "if you want to use trains for nuclear waste handling, do basic track maintenance and pre-check it"<p>I suspect this only made news because of more recent train derailment and accidents. Not that it stands alone as a news story, but because context is everything. Thats how the news cycle works.<p>As soon as a decent picture of a small girl feeding ice-cream to a squirrel is available, they'll put that on high rotation instead.
