Ask HN: Best < $700 general purpose laptop with good heat management?

I.E.: Ideally, the laptop would be fast and at the same time stay somewhat cool to the touch.<p>I prefer mat screens and like open firmware like coreboot but that isn&#x27;t a requirement.
