author is being polite, its even worse<p>javascript jobs will probably pay less than go jobs<p>javascript jobs will more likely tend to be viewed as "junior" relative to go jobs<p>I tell people to not become js devs if they don't want to be locked into a "junior" cycle of lower pay<p>there's no real reason for this, it just is<p>go will also eventually become a junior/low-pay skill, probably within five years
