While the state of sanitation is, indeed, sad, creating space for private monopolies people can&#x27;t escape is never a good solution.<p>It&#x27;s always better to force the government-owned sanitation companies to meet specific service-level and universality goals and use that to feed the budget that needs congressional approval.
