The name of the company is literally National Public Radio and they lobby for more government funds on their own website.<p>Their gripe seems to be “government funded” implies “state sanctioned” but there’s a separate label for state sponsored media, which they did not receive.<p>The collective temper tantrum from journalists losing their special treatment on Twitter has been glorious to watch.
