Could someone please explain to me how we got from well-known, at least 80-year old, concepts such as <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bancor" rel="nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bancor</a> to the paranoid tone of TFA?<p>Edit: also no mention on <a href="https://www.imf.org/en/News" rel="nofollow">https://www.imf.org/en/News</a> so most likely bogus.
