Ask HN: Troubleshooting a sideline while on holiday

Is anyone using a Kindle Fire to ssh to their Cloud Servers? I have a side project and it is getting tiresome having to bring a laptop on holiday with me in case of a tech emergency. Any recommendations from personal experience?
