Jevon's Paradox has some interesting implications for the "ChatGPT will make software developers obsolete" crowd. I think it will do the opposite. LLMs will make generating code more efficient, thus we're likely to have more code to maintain and an overall increase in software work. Every technology aimed at improving developer efficiency has resulted in ever-increasing software work (perfectly in line with the predictions of Jevon's paradox) and there is no evidence that LLMs will be any different.
