Seems like the amount of spam I am getting is massively up in recent months. Tons of pure spam, but also a very significant amount of email lists I definitely never subscribed to. I keep clicking 'report spam' but I feel like that button does nothing at all.

Spam <i>to</i> your own Gmail account, or spam <i>from</i> Gmail accounts?<p>I don't really have one of the former, but have been pretty disgusted with the quantity of the latter for quite a while now.
Yes but for Outlook.com/Hotmail/Live aka Microsoft consumer mail.<p>My 15 year old email is finally on some spam list and somehow Norton, Macafee, Fedex, Office 365 and Loan scams can come straight into the inbox.
