Ask HN: When filming, how do we prove that the video is real?

This could be a government agency or two people on a dating platform, wanting to do something while filming that proves it&#x27;s authenticity.<p>Maybe they could: - Have multiple cameras so the video must match in every perspective. - Use determistic light arrangements, like a monitor standing behind the person in the with a video of changing QR code timestamps.<p>Maybe any VFX artists out there can talk about their worst nightmare.<p>I&#x27;m curious to hear your ideas

I guess perhaps the easiest would be that each personality has a website where he can sign (using his private key) his appearance in some media at a given time and for a given duration (using the hash of the media, or some QR code embedded in the media)

I think there&#x27;s some news agencies working on this, though they&#x27;re mostly of the form &quot;this digital file existed at this point in time&quot; I think.
