I haven't tried this yet but it does seem very on point with my own sleeping problems. My wife falls asleep at the drop of a hat but I spend at least an hour or more trying to fall asleep. I've tried circadian rhythm lighting, blue blockers, eye masks, ear plugs, everything I could think of to no avail.<p>Hopefully this helps me and if anyone else is having issues hopefully it helps you.
I personally never had issues sleeping, even on a crowded airplane, and there’s no secret about it, if I’m tired and my body needs a sleep, I just close my eyes and I’m gone, I don’t try to force myself to sleep, or trying to fit a typical schedule. Also taking magnesium helps with relaxation.
Sometimes if I'm getting annoyed or anxious because I can't fall asleep when I want to, I will think to myself "I'll just doze and that will be OK." It helps to fall asleep.
