This is an opportunity to join the YCS11 company that was voted No. 1 by its 62 peers at the end of the summer. We’re looking for a VP of engineering. We’re funded ($2.6M; elite VC investors) and we have a web app and a paradigm that works. We want somebody who can help us push this to the next level.
The right candidate will have designed, launched and scaled a web app. We will soon be facing the design of challenging logic that decides which customer sees what, depending on their zip code, their history, their retailers and our own internal sales goals. We work with large companies and retailers -- so we’re often unable to simply throw things against the wall, live, and see what works. We need things to go out the door in as tight a form as possible. The best candidates will have thorough experience in testing prod & sniffing out and squashing bugs.
We are disrupting the way grocery manufacturers’ market their brands, including the way that marketing is disseminated, tracked and redeemed. We integrate with grocery store loyalty cards and we give food manufacturers the ability to target, track and follow up on their deals. In short, the business of marketing food is a big one ($35b+) and we do it better than anybody else.
We launched in August. We’re looking for somebody who will drink the Kool-Aid and help us run circles around the rest of this industry and climb to the top of a mountain that’s ours for the taking.
We pay well. We offer serious equity and a full slate of benefits including health insurance and a 401k. We have a Killerspin ping pong table and an employee who can beat you on one leg. For the ping pong spectators, we stock the finest beer in Chicago.
The job is in Chicago. We’re willing to relocate the right candidate.
To apply, please email us with your resume and a couple of words: traifsiacku@dunflimblag.mailexpire.com
