Personally I think these kind of impersonal hiring tools naturally lead to &quot;cheating&quot; by using chatgpt or whatever. If a company wants to screen people without investing any time, it&#x27;s a logical reaction for candidates that are up for that sort of thing to also invest the bare minimum into getting screened in.<p>I get it that it&#x27;s an economic choice companies make, but things like chatgpt level the playing field for candidates who are expected to jump through hoops without any reciprocity from the hiring company.<p>Personally I wouldn&#x27;t hire anyone who I found was cheating in an interview, but I would also never consider interviewing at a place that make me do an automated test.

Automated and impersonal assessment will be met with automated and impersonal submissions. Simple as.
