I don't know who needs to read this but:<p>Always always <i>always</i> keep personal and work things 100% separate. For most of you this means carrying around two laptops and two phones. It's mildly annoying but it's just part of being a tech worker in the 2020's.
"Employees could pause during onboarding and say they want to create a new Apple ID specifically for work or use a different phone. But most do not — it seems a little paranoid, and the Apple instructions say to go ahead "<p>A real nothing burger as employees really do have a choice to protect their privacy.
Sensationalism. Worked there for 8 years and had every choice to commingle (or not) personal and work accounts on both company and personal devices. Wiped everything clean before I left.
> Apple cares about privacy, unless you work at Apple (2021)<p>Yeah. Until you read the TOS.<p>"You can turn off wi-fi, location, cellular data, but not for Apple apps".
"Privacy" in this company is always interpreted as "outsiders having access, not us" so I'm not surprised. It's actually where they are wrong, it's the same for customers.
