I run a pitch deck consulting agency that helps early-stage companies prepare investor pitch decks for Seed through to Pre-IPO. We interview the founder, prepare the deck, and financial model, and then design it.
Our sales this month are down massively, over 80% from the same month last year, and I'm trying to understand the cause, things really fell after SVB collapse, because otherwise, we were at par with the year prior.
Based on what you all have seen in terms of the VC environment and ChatGPT, do you think this decline can attribute more to the economic situation or has my business already been completely killed from ChatGPT by founders using it for their decks?
If not killed yet, do you think the consultative approach and multi-faceted deliverables are safe from generative AI or should I just pack it up and call it quits after 10 years of doing this?
