Doubt they will help you if you caused your company to use a patented code for profit.. At best you&#x27;ll loose your job, at worse, you&#x27;ll get sued by both your company and the actual third-party<p>You are responsible of your own action, it&#x27;s similar when you buy stolen goods from facebook marketplace, you should always ask for a receipt or proof of ownership, for code it&#x27;s similar, you ask what&#x27;s the license, and you include the license in your source tree if you are allowed to use the code ;)<p>github is full of projects like that: <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;github.com&#x2F;zeldaret&#x2F;oot">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;github.com&#x2F;zeldaret&#x2F;oot</a>, good luck ;)
