Can someone please explain further why it costs them money to take the shows off Disney+ and how, one assumes, this leads to more money in the future.
Is the write down due to expected fall in subscriptions? Does this save money paid to IP rights holders? Do they hope to make more money by licensing the content to third parties? Are their Internet expenses too high?
After rewatching all the Marvel films, the reason I keep my Disney+ subscription is because there seems to be a lot of other films I’d like to watch. For example, I have recently just watched most of Wes Anderson’s films.
Is Disney’s biggest problem that people don’t know that content is there?
