Hi,
My question: is there an available documented success story where their founders were remotely located, not physically cloistered on their way to "success?"
Context: Paul Graham is known for reflecting on ycomb funding success stories, whether they go public or on an important anniversary. In many cases, pictures are shared where people are cloistered physically together, for example, AirBnb went IPO (cannot find the thread, sorry). This feels like a common occurrence in literature, where pictures of simple togetherness/grit are shared when the final "release" occurs.
I m looking for any shared remote example - partially or moderately successful (revenue, engagement, etc.). I assume that it has yet to happen at an IPO scale like Airbnb (yet).
Auth0 started as a remote company with one founder in the US and other in Argentina https://auth0.com/blog/welcome-to-the-remote-club-7-lessons-...
AFAIK Gitlab has been all remote since day 1, although I could not find a reference.
