Ask HN: Is there anyone who documented their research process publicly

3 pointsby jonas_kgomoalmost 2 years ago
I want cases where someone carefully documented how they started a research and the methods they used during the research leading to a final paper. I have no experience with research and I am looking for efforts that have been made publicly to share research methods and approaches.

Basically every academic peer reviewed research paper will list their methodology.
From your other post/submissions it seems that you already are pretty good at researching topics and discussing things... Research projects are 'good thinking carried through' so just keep the area of interest narrow and keep on doing your thing.
There are masses of research on research, but it can be very different in different fields. I would suggest making a new post detailing you plans, projects, desired outcomes, needed collaborators and current abilities. Only then can anyone really advise you as the substance you are asking for.
