This is by far one of the most core democratizing innovations that's been waayyy to underloved.<p>The big giants have proprietary systems. These amazing computers with so many communication systems can't actually talk to each other. It's a huge shame. We really should mobilize some kind of opportunistic exchange system on Linux.<p>For a brief moment Google had Eddystone, which let folks share urls with each other. That was at least something. Not much.<p>Really wish the rest of the world cared about this a little more. We take it for granted.
