Great news for kids. Puberty is an incredibly complex process involving countless genes, signaling cascades, feedback loops, etc etc. There is so much we don't understand about the human body, and thinking that you can just "pause" it, like a video player or virtual machine, is the height of hubris. Osteoporosis, sterility, anxiety and depression… we are just beginning to uncover all the harmful effects of these "treatments".

This article is shit.
> Last year, the N.H.S. announced that it would be shutting down the country’s only youth gender clinic after an external review showed that the Tavistock Gender Identity Development Service had been unable to provide appropriate care for the rapidly increasing number of adolescents seeking gender treatments.
The announcement was that Tavistock could not safely provide enough care and that Tavi staff were routinely transphobic, so they're having their contract taken away from them and the NHS is going to open more clinics across the country to meet the need.
