Potential Uses for Carbon After Captured from Air?

2 pointsby gamerDudealmost 2 years ago
I&#x27;ve been reading up a bit on Direct Air Capture (DAC) and Carbon Scrubbers since I believe this is an important thing to be working on for keeping Earth as a good place to live for humans.<p>From my understanding, these devices capture CO2 gas through a filtering process. Is there a way to convert CO2 gas into other chemical compounds that could be useful to us in other ways. Maybe we could make carbon furniture or countertops etc. as a luxury storage device. Or whatever you mix with CO2 to make new gases&#x2F;liquids&#x2F;solids that those have uses to. Just exploring the space, does anyone know what to do with CO2 gas?
