Screenleap (YC W12) is looking for UX/graphic designer to join the founding team

1 pointsby ttruongabout 13 years ago
Screenleap is the easiest and fastest way to share your screen with someone. We want to do for screen sharing what Dropbox did for file sharing by making it so easy to use that it "just works" for everyone.
We are looking for a top-notch UX/graphic designer to join our team (possibly as a co-founder). You will be responsible for making Screenleap so simple and intuitive that your grandmother would be able to use it without any assistance. In general, we want Screenleap to be a casual and fun product with lots of personality. We don’t think screen sharing has to be complex and corporate like many of the existing tools.
You will:
1. Play a key role in defining our brand and the look-and-feel of the site
2. Create beautiful interfaces that enhance usability rather than detract from it
3. Care deeply about the user experience from the first impression to the last goodbye
4. Passionately defend the product against feature bloat
5. Remove extraneous steps from every part of the product
We have significant founders equity set aside for the right person. This is a great opportunity to join an early stage company at the founder level, work with a great team, and have an immediate impact. We are passionate about the product and the vision for the company and we are looking for someone who shares the same passion and enthusiasm.
We are currently working remotely (most of us are located in SF) but will be looking for office space beginning in April (most likely in SF).
If you're interested, please send a cover letter and a link to your portfolio to jobs (at) screenleap (dot) com.
