Didn’t realize the implosion would have likely been similar to a diesel piston and the inside of the sub would have been compressed so quickly that a huge amount of heat would have been generated and all occupants burned to ash almost immediately from the intense heat and compression. Strange to think that type of thing could occur thousands of feet underwater.
