The minecraft story arc is quite a cathartic one for me as a kid in middle school / high school seeing it grow and having quite a connection with the game through friends.<p>The story of its creators is quite sad, C418's music was always eerily hopeful, sad, and always laden with an almost indescribable undertone of wanderlust.<p>These descriptions of his tracks are a delight to read, but in some of them you can feel their emotions very much at play.<p>C418's other works are incredible, he added a level of depth and emotion to chiptune that hadn't been explored before their work.
