Ask HN: Is Jekyll being used as a CMS?

I'm new to this world of static generated sites.<p>I see that Jekyll does a nice job with both `posts` and `pages`.<p>Are there people using Jekyll to run marketing sites, for example, and not just as what you might refer to as a blog?
