I thought this was a pretty fair assessment of where remote work is at.<p>I think remote work is forcing the market to really reveal all of our incentives - as workers, as employers, etc - and to attempt to design a working system that best meets everyone's needs.<p>I think that when the market shifts to be less employee friendly, WFH will go down. When it shifts to be a hiring bonanza (as it was over the past couple of years) WFH will go up.
