Replacing all the roads with concrete everywhere is going to be expensive. Would it be cheaper to displace the weight over a larger surface area? I propose putting giant off-road tires on all EV's and in full disclosure I just want that to happen because I think it would look amazing and EV's could still be somewhat usable after the apocalypse. EV's have enough torque. Let's make this happen.

Concrete produces 8% of global CO2 emissions. It would be ironic to have people switch to EVs in order to reduce CO2 emissions and then produce more concrete to build roads for them.
