What is the purpose of articles like this? Do people truly think child trafficking doesn’t exist? Is every hacker movie accurate? It’s meant to bring awareness. Hopefully it does.
I saw it, and as a liberal and not very religious person I really don't understand what the article is talking about. A phrase along the lines of "Gods children can't be sold" is used a couple of times, but otherwise there weren't very strong religious overtones. The raids the movie is based on were reported on by CBS at the time. There is very little violence, and frankly the best acting comes from the child actors who are able to show the horrors of child sex trafficking with their expressions rather than graphic scenes. It's not the best movie ever made, but it gets its point cross tastefully. I'm not a fan of republican politicians but blindly hating on all conservative people is clearly counterproductive.
