This seem to be just one maintainer but it does point out an interesting problem. If politics are allowed to interfere with Open Source then which and who&#x27;s politics? Is Linux suddenly American? Clearly not, but why listen to US sanctions then and not Russian or Chinese? Do every maintainer then follow their home countries politics?<p>If this spreads I won&#x27;t feel inclined to roll out any Linux systems again. Especially if the politics followed are the US&#x27; as that is absolutely not a country that can claim any moral high ground, even over Russia. I too support Ukraine but I support Palestine even more and equal rights for China as for the US too.
