It would not surprise me if it's true. Threads is the contender but it's hard to compete against a habit. The people that are used to Twitter will continue to use it just because it has been their goto for years. Threads will get all the people that have been turned off by the Twitter changes and Twitter will continue to chug along. The internet has room for 2 short message platforms. They will each cater to a different audience.

Previous week is when he rate limited everyone so they COULDN&#x27;T use Twitter.<p>And this week with higher limits, usage is higher.<p>I am frankly shocked and surprised.
