Hey HN,
I've recently started a blog focused on Ruby on Rails — this might be surprising to a lot of you!
The general sentiment I see on HN is that 1. Rails is dead and 2. Rails is too slow to be useful. I disagree on both, and I hope that by blogging more about "modern" Rails, I can slowly change this sentiment.
I taught myself Rails years ago and loved it (and I love it more each year) — it's productive, battle tested, and still under heavy development nearly 20 years after it's initial release.
I've shared a few blog posts from RailsNotes already here on HN, which have been well received. I hope you like the blog itself too!
I'd love any feedback you've got for me. Be it my writing style, the website design, anything — I'd love your feedback, and I'll be active here in the comments if you have any questions or want to chat.
Thanks! Harrison
