Bad choice of biometrics to use iris scans. These are too physically awkward.<p>Better would be hand scans like what Amazon is implementing at Whole Foods stores. These look at both hand geometry as well as subsurface vein patterns visible with infrared light.<p>Which is easier and more comfortable ---- just hold out your hand or bent down and stick your eyeball on this little socket thingy? And what about sanitation? Washing your hand is much easier than washing your eyeball.<p>But in any case, this looks like yet another crypto scam to me --- they'll pay you for your biometrics using "funny money" that they just made up.<p>When they sell others access to your biometrics, I'll bet they prefer fiat in return.
