Ask HN: What is the most convoluted log on process you have encountered at work?

2 pointsby unklefolkalmost 2 years ago
As an example, I am working with some healthcare data. I have to: - Start laptop - Enter boot password - Logon - Connect to VPN - Start a Citrix session in a browser - Supply a username, password, pin code and accept T&amp;Cs - Receive a one time code by email and enter it into the browser - Start a RDP session via the Citrix session - From that RDP session, RDP to another server with username and password (pasting is blocked - everything has to be typed) - ... and I&#x27;m in! If I am inactive for 10 minutes I have to start again with the Citrix step.<p>Just wondering if others have experienced long, convoluted log on processes to connect to a system?
