I use the A.I. tools in Photoshop (Adobe Creative Cloud) all the time. I don't ask it to draw anything fancy with a prompt but I use it to infill and outfill photographs all the time.
For instance in
https://mastodon.social/@UP8/110607460518784045
there was a white splotch I removed. When I put that photo up in context it didn't look properly vertically centered so I got it to draw an extra row of bricks at the bottom. (Not shown in those toots) I could do things like this with photoshop before but it was a lot of work. Now I can do it in 10 seconds and usually get it right the first time.
I have a podcast called "Drinking With Robots" which pits human craft cocktail bartenders against AI in themed challenges for every episode. I currently pay for the following:
- $20/mo - OpenAI ChatGPT
- $10 - Dream Studio from stability.ai (I bought a bunch of credits)
- $10/mo - Midjourney
I use Dream Studio & Midjourney for cover art, etc.
Check out the podcast if you get a chance as well!
