I mean, of course they aren't?
When Steve Jobs walked out on stage in 2007 and showed us the iPhone, 13-year old me knew _exactly_ what I wanted that device to do. I imagined games, I imagined carrying Facebook Messages in my pocket, I imagined watching movies on the bus to school.
When Apple unveiled the Vision Pro, I said, "huh...neat," and went back to working on some code at work. Later, a coworker mentioned to me that the virtual monitor thing would be cool for working, and I guess it's neat? There just isn't that "oh my god I know _exactly_ what this can do" factor with the Vision Pro. We've gotten past all the obvious applications of mobile tech, and now we're grasping at straws. The Vision Pro is just too niche a device.
