Ask HN: Why wasn't Thunderbird v115 packaged for Fedora?

7 pointsby mdwaltersalmost 2 years ago
I've been using Thunderbird for a long time, and I'm rather surprised to see that Fedora still has v102, instead of the latest version, v115. Anyone know why this is happening?

Which repo was it pulled from? If EPEL they are known to lag behind for many packages. If not EPEL then I don't know. An alternative or work-around would be to pull it from their site directly [1] with the downside not being an rpm.
[1] - https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/115.0.1/lin...
