I see HN is showing the "half mast" (black top border) which traditionally means someone close to the hacker community passed. But I have heard of no such news. What happened?
The story "Bram Moolenaar has died" on position 4 on the frontpage with 3000 upvotes. When Queen Elisabeth died the story had only 2800 upvotes.
