what the fuck is wrong with this author????<p>&gt;developers care more about software’s access and ease of use than the purity of its license<p>how does that make any sense?<p>if access and ease of use is important, why the hell is &quot;all rights reserved&quot; mean oracle can fuck you in the ass backwards twice over? or &quot;rightsholders&quot; go after piratebay because they fucking copied a song? what the fuck!!!<p>this licensing discussion goes both ways. If i am not &quot;allowed&quot; to do commercial work on a particular LLM, i will not use it. If it stops me from copying or modifying the same, i will not use it. open source does not prevent that. it just says &quot;do not restrict freedom any more than what you were given&quot;. thats it.<p>if you try to make this into a stupid discussion about &quot;ethics&quot; and &quot;nobody cares&quot; then why not do away with DMCA?
