Great and everything, but what we really need is police accountability.<p>Recording cops can help trigger some public outrage but so often the follow up to bad interactions is 1 week unpaid vacation or getting hired the next district over and a $1 million dollar bill for the local municipality.<p>Until cops see personal impacts for violating civil rights, they aren&#x27;t going to change.

What have been the strongest arguments <i>in favor of</i> the AZ law?<p>(I&#x27;m pretty skeptical of the law, but I don&#x27;t think my view is fully informed.)
