It's entertaining watching the left struggle with categorizing Vivek as a candidate. The subreddit for the Indian community in America vehemently disavows Vivek, effectively calling him the brown Trump and pretty much rejecting him from the Indian community. They have this vision of what an American-born Indian is supposed to be, and Vivek violates all these immutable laws, so he's no longer considered a "real" Indian, whatever the hell that is.<p>I'm strongly considering voting for him if he's the Republican nominee. I've never voted Republican in my life, but I'm fed up with the brainless ideation of the Democratic party. I've been a stable liberal my whole life, but the Democratic party has drifted so far left that I somehow am considered slightly right-of-center now.
