Does anyone have more details on the real issue?
To me it sounds more that space10 did innovation not aligned with the business objectives and therefore cut cut off thanks to political power. Saying that they stop on a high note is painting it better than it seems as to me there are few worthy products, innovation that seemed to came out and transformed the business.
