The videos of what appear to be live lines on the ground writhing and sparking may tend to complicate this defense.<p>I wonder how many hacked up &quot;home power&quot; systems might&#x27;ve been backfeeding into power lines? Could the electric company have actually shut of their feeders and still failed to de-energize big portions of the grid? Do people with local power there manage their own transfer switches or is that power company property marked &quot;don&#x27;t touch&quot;?
