Our Universe May Be Starting to Unravel

My favorite part of the article is where the author describes cosmic inflation as this quick fix for a "paradox from a previous big bang" that also introduced the multiverse - which is essentially unverifiable and then goes on to say something like "there's nothing inherently fishy about the standard model"
The standard model is holding everything back - clearly it's fundamentally flawed and that's been obvious for awhile, yet they keep trying to make it work.
I think fear rather than science is the main reason this is still a thing - they don't know how to think outside the model, abandoning it for the unknown is too scary.
Just let it go - see what's out there.

It's "The Story of Our Universe May Be Starting to Unravel" not the universe itself that's unraveling.

We think we know everything but we don't, and never will.

Without the paywall: https://archive.ph/BuRic
It’s like spooky action at a distance - but spookier. Thanks for sharing! :)
