I’ve been diving down the rabbit hole of knife making for the past few months. There’s plenty of good introductory content between Youtube and forums, but if you’re seeking a more in-depth resource then I highly recommend this book.
The recent post “Finding an Edge” inspired me to share here. It’s probably no surprise that making a basic knife is relatively easy, considering it’s one of the first tools created by man. What did surprise me is how fun it can be, and with such low overhead to get started.
The author also has an entertaining YouTube channel called Knife Steel Nerds, which may be more interesting for anyone not yet into the hobby.
