I've never went to some academy/university/college and at the moment I don't plan to.<p>TLDR: what are some similar options, online? -- /TLDR<p>now I want to take random courses online without long term commitment (ie. weeks, not years) but also as part of a group/class or whatever, connect with people learning at the same pace.<p>my latest similar (offline) experience in terms of learning & socializing was in the Israeli Defense Forces over a decade ago.<p>I did have some working environments where I learned & socialized but hardly as intense or fun as back then, and I've been freelancing for many years, mostly online.<p>I did participate in (offline) hacker houses which I really enjoyed and they were the closest such experience since, but they were very short - about a week or two, and don't happen too often.<p>I know there are many online academies/whatever, I'm not so experienced with any. but I don't want just a DIY video, there is amazing content on YouTube for that. I want the group part.
